Katie's teaching style is based on the belief that
her student's needs are of the utmost importance.
Basic skills are taught and the direction of the
lessons are dictated by the student's interests,
whether it be in alternative styles, or classical
music.
No matter what the style, a basic technical
foundation for success will be developed!

Katie would love the opportunity to earn your
trust and give you the best musical instruction
possible!

Lesson Costs and Fees:
1/2 hour lessons: $70/4 lessons or $20/lesson
45 minute lessons: $105/4 lessons or $30/lesson
1 hour lessons: $140/4 lessons or $40/lesson

Lesson Payment:
Payment is due at the beginning of each month (or at the beginning of the lesson if paying per lesson). I can accept cash or check, sorry no credit cards.
Lesson Policy:

Katie Benyo's Studio Policy

GENERAL LESSON POLICIES:   I understand we all have busy schedules and conflicts are bound to come up; however,  these are universal policies found in professional music studios across the country. Your time slot will remain yours as long as you maintain current payment.  If a student misses two lessons in a row without notice, I will assume he/she is no longer interested in taking lessons and will be removed from my schedule. Payment of cash or check should be made directly to me.

FOR STUDENTS WHO PAY EVERY 4 LESSONS:
Tuition reserves a weekly time slot and a lower rate per lesson. Private Lessons will be held weekly (30 min-1 hour). Lessons are paid at the beginning of every 4 weeks for the full amount ($70.00- 4, half-hour lessons/ $105.00- 4, 45min lessons/ $140.00- 4, hour lessons)
Students are expected to attend ALL 4 LESSONS in a row; I cannot accept 2 or 3 a month. My instructor time must still be compensated like any other professional, and as a professional instructor, I cannot allow my income to be adjusted because personal conflicts. However, lessons missed can be made up with 24 hour notification before the scheduled lesson time. (Lessons  missed without a 24 hour notice cannot be made up.)  However, due to busy schedules (both yours and mine) I cannot guarantee make-ups, and missed lessons must still be paid for (but I will do my absolute best to find a make-up time that works!)
A lesson that is missed because the instructor cannot be present for any reason: the lesson will be made up or deducted from the next month's bill.  The student is under no obligation to reschedule if the instructor is the cause for the missed lesson, and can instead accept the refund.

FOR STUDENTS WHO PAY WEEKLY:
Private lessons will be held weekly (30min- 1 hour). Lessons will be paid for following each lesson ($20- half hour lesson/ $30- 45 min lesson/ $40- hour lesson).
24 hour notification before your lesson is appreciated if you cannot atttend; some sort of contact before the lesson begins to let me know you will not be attending is expected.
Make-up lessons will be offered for missed lessons and are encouraged to help students stay on track in lessons. (Since we only meet once a week, that time together is crucial to a students progress). No-call, no-show's are unacceptable; 2 no-call, no-shows to a lesson and I will remove the student from my schedule.

**If your lesson time becomes a time you cannot attend on a weekly basis, just let me know and we can find a better slot for you!**
